Kids in the KitchenGetting kids involved in the cooking process is a great way to improve their eating habits. Many parents find that if kids have been involved in the preparation of the meal, they will be more likely to eat and enjoy their food.
At Toddler Tucker, we believe that this can happen in many ways; from planting fruit or vegetables and watching them grow; to assisting with cooking in the kitchen.
‘Kids in the Kitchen’ page is aimed at encouraging and engaging our kids to understand what’s going in their stomachs.
Each month, we will suggest a new kid-friendly cooking activity and recipe for you and your kids to enjoy together. Your kids can help you out in the kitchen and start to learn about the role that food plays in our lives.
We would love to hear from you if you have a suggestion for food-related fun. Please email your idea and/or photos of (your) ‘kids in the kitchen’ to kim@toddlertucker.com.au. We will supply a $30 Toddler Tucker gift certificate to our favourite contributors.
